SUDDENLY HUMAN | Alternative / New Wave / Post Rock from Halle (Saale)/ Weimar, Germany
Suddenly Human aren't just Philipp Saaler (vocals, synthies), Hannes Kiesewetter (guitar), Konstantin Brandt (bass) and Thomas Noack (drums). Suddenly Human are four hearts who beat for their wish to create something lasting.
At the point where Joy Division, Dredg, U2 and The Police collide Suddenly Human catch up and vault themselves with a very nuanced and energetic sound right into the middle of the alternative/ new wave genre.
The band from Halle (Saale) was founded in early 2012 and recorded their first EP “Big City Ants“, produced by Florian Nowak (5Bugs), in the same year. One year later they recorded the EP “Closer Than Before“ with the help of Marcus Gumball (Guano Apes, In Flames) and the team of Cubeaudio Recordings. On 18th March 2016 Suddenly Human released their debut album "Elements On Changing Ways" that was recorded and produced by Jürgen Block (Keimzeit).
Since 2014 the band's motto is “Always on the road“: with their unique sound Suddenly Human conquer national and international stages all over Europe. With their tours “The Trumpet Shall Sound“ (2014), “On Changing Ways“ (2015) and "#EOCW Release Tour" (2016) but also with performances at Lakesound and Oakfield Festival as well as the Tunix Open Air in Munich the four musicians acquired recognition in the music business and relevant media. Moreover they have been support for “The Smith Street Band“ and played shows with “Tito & Tarantula“ “Die Happy“, “I Heart Sharks“, “The Correspondents“ and “Birth of Joy“.
Since October 2015 the band is part of the exclusive Initiative Musik sponsorship and can look back on more than 130 shows in twelve different countries.
